How to Properly Use Programmer Adapters
with Open-Top PLCC Sockets
PLCC sockets are also called
sockets. Adapters made with them cost less than those with
sockets. If used properly, they can increase through-put in production.
On the other hand, their contact pins can be easily bent or broken if a device is
into the socket before being placed properly at the opening of the programming socket.
To load a device:
